The Rutgers will host its annual 7on7 tournament this weekend. There will be over 80 teams represented this Saturday to state their claim as the champions. Scout.com will be there to cover the event.

The Rutgers 7on7 tournament will kick off this Saturday with over 80 teams participating. If this year’s tournament is anything like last year’s tournament, it should be another exciting event.

Last year, the final four consisted of some talented teams: Camden Catholic was loaded last year with QB Joe Brennan, WR Terrence Casper, WR Jerry Waters and OLB Sherard Cadogan. Camden Catholic should make a run this year with all those guys coming back.

Plainfield had a plenty of talent last with their speedy receivers and talented QB Tyrone Johnson. Plainfield graduated most of their receivers however, with Johnson at the helm Plainfield will be a contender on Saturday.

Xaverian was the runner up last year with a talented QB in Najee Taylor who is headed to Purdue.

Last year’s champion, Ramapo was solid with their QB Andrew Weiss however Weiss has graduated and Ramapo looks for answers to defend their title.

We will give you a breakdown of the teams to beat on tomorrow. Stay Tuned!!
