| As a senior, Jackson finished his senior season with 40 receptions for 729 yards. he also had 20 carries for 350 yards. Jackson scored 14 touchdowns. Defensively, Jackson had four interceptions as he helped lead Raritan to the state semi-finals.
Bennett Jackson finished his junior season with 35 receptions for 806 yards, four receiving touchdowns, four rushing touchdowns, two punt returns for scores and one kick return for a score. He says he can bench 255-pounds, squat 395 and reports a 38-inch vertical jump. Jackson also runs track in high school. He competes in the 100m (10.7), 200m (22.2) and the 110-hurdles (14.9).
Jackson says he’d like to major in sports medicine and would like to be a strength and conditioning coach later in life. Jackson reports a 2.8 core GPA and took the SAT on May 2.
Jackson: “I play a lot on the inside. I’m shifty and very quick off the line. I get open easily and I’m tough to tackle in the open field.
“I still want to get stronger and be more physical. I’d also like to be a better blocker.
“Track really helps my speed and I’d do it if I can, but I’m really only planning on focusing on football in college.”
