| Jones has fantastic explosion and run after the catch ability. He is elusive, quick and can make people miss in the open field. He has good straight line speed and can run away from the pack. His hands are solid and he does show ability to make catches in traffic. However, he needs to get bigger and stronger, which will help him beat press coverage and improve his blocking. |

| Tony Jones finished his junior season with 69 receptions for 1,065 yards and nine touchdowns. He says he can bench 245-pounds, squat 400 and has a 35-inch vertical jump.
Jones says he plans on going pre-law and reports a 3.7 core GPA and a 24 ACT.
Jones: “I have the ability to make plays and get yards after the catch. I can create separation from the backs. I’m pretty versatile and I think I can play on the inside or outside. I run good routes too.
“I want to get a bit bigger and stronger. y goal is to be up to 190-pounds. I want to be prepared for getting off jams of bigger corners.”
